This is my third Christmas as a Life Coach, and traditionally things slow down not just for Life Coaches but for many people at this time of year. Our thoughts around the 19th December begin to turn to Christmas Day and being with family, turkey and the trimmings. Or maybe if you don't celebrate Christmas yourself, it's a time when you just let the world go by for a few days.
I used to work for many years in the construction industry as a book-keeper and accounts person. The construction industry in the UK take a full two weeks paid leave. I tried to defy the odds the first year as a Life Coach and I booked 12 appointments, all but one of them postponed on me! :)
Well now I know now that the week before Christmas, isn't a time when people talk their Life Coach. :) However, as we approach the New Year, people begin to think of what they'd like to happen, they make "New Year's Resolutions" with every intention to follow through and to stay the course till they achieve their dreams and desires, but sadly the majority don't get their wishes.
