If Music Be The Food Of Love, Play On!
I'm first and foremost a music fan and I wanted to show some appreciation today here in my blog if you are a musician reading this.
Music is not only the food of love, it is according to Billy Joel's "Piano Man" the distraction people need to help them get away from their troubles. To quote his lyric, do you know when you perform "... that it's you they are coming to see, to forget about life for a while?"
In these so called troubled times of economic downturn, as a musician you are able to not only distract but also lift the human spirit and make the audience feel entertained and blessed. You have indeed a high calling, I send you appreciation on behalf of all music fans everywhere!
